Explanation
BACKGROUND: For the option to establish three (3) UTC contracts to purchase Moyno Pump Parts for the Division of Sewerage and Drainage, the sole user. The parts will be used for maintenance and repair of L&J frame and 2000 pumps, manufactured by Moyno, Inc., a unit of Robbins and Myers, located at the two (2) wastewater treatment plants. The term of the proposed option contracts is two (2) years, expiring July 31, 2011, with the option to renew for two (2) additional years on a year to year basis. The Purchasing Office opened bids on March 5, 2009.
The Purchasing Office advertised and solicited competitive bids in accordance with Section 329.06 (Solicitation No. SA003173). Thirty-six (36) bids were solicited: (M1A-0, F1-1, MBR-1). Three (3) bids were received.
