Explanation
BACKGROUND
This ordinance authorizes the Interim Director of the Department of Human Resources to modify a service contract with the OhioHealth Corporation for the Public Safety Health and Physical Fitness Testing contract to add funds for payment of services.
Ordinance 0124-2025 authorized the Director of the Department of Human Resources to enter into a service contract for the Public Safety Health and Physical Fitness Testing Services in the amount of $1,460,000.00. The contract term is for five (5) years, with the option, upon mutual agreement, to extend three (3) additional one-year contracts, subject to appropriation.
This ordinance authorizes the Interim Director of the Department of Human Resources to add funds to pay for services in year two (2) of the contract in the amount of $1,600,000.00. This is a planned modification to add funds.

The contract amount, including all modifications: $3,060,000.00
Searches in the System for Award Management (Federal) and the Findings for Recovery list (State) produced no findings against the OhioHealth Corporation.

OhioHealth Corporation’s contract compliance number is CC-006104, expiring on 10/29/2027.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funding for this contract will be available within Fund 1000, the General Fund.
EMERGENCY DESIGNATION
Emergency action is respectfully requested to allow contract services to continue without interruption.
