To recognize Nicolas Domenick as the recipient of the William A. Lewis, P.E., Engineer of the Year Award.

WHEREAS, Nicolas Domenick was recognized on February 26, 2026 at the Department of Public Utilities and Department of Public Service Engineer for a Day Event; and
WHEREAS, Nicolas Domenick is currently an Engineer III with the Columbus Water and Power; and
WHEREAS, Nicolas Domenick is an employee of the City of Columbus with twenty years of service, who as a project manager exhibits excellent leadership skills and is a forward thinker; and
WHEREAS, throughout his career with the Division of Water Reclamation, Nicolas Domenick has demonstrated outstanding leadership and project management skills and facilitated the successful completion of a wide range of projects; and
WHEREAS, Nicolas Domenick is a model ambassador for Columbus Water and Power, Division of Water Reclamation, Sewer System Engineering Section, representing his department both nationally and regionally as presenters at both the Water Environment Federation and Ohio Water Environment Association; and
WHEREAS, this Council seeks to recognize exceptional employees with the City of Columbus, who demonstrate a dedication and passion for public service; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby recognize Nicolas Domenick as the recipient of the William A. Lewis, P.E., Engineer of the Year Award.
