ALKIRE WOODS, LLC, by ROLAND S. GILLER, III, President of VILLAGE COMMUNITIES CORPORATION, Managing Member, has submitted the plat titled ALKIRE WOODS to the City Engineer's Office for review and approval. This plat has been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. The following legislation allows the City to accept said plat for property located south off of Alkire Road at Southwestern Road.

To accept the plat titled ALKIRE WOODS, from ALKIRE WOODS, LLC, by ROLAND S. GILLER, III, President of VILLAGE COMMUNITIES CORPORATION, Managing Member and to declare an emergency.

Body

WHEREAS, the plat titled ALKIRE WOODS (hereinafter "plat"), has been submitted to the City Engineer's Office for approval and acceptance; and

WHEREAS, ALKIRE WOODS, LLC, by ROLAND S. GILLER, III, President of VILLAGE COMMUNITIES CORPORATION, Managing Member, owner of the platted land, desires to dedicate to the public use all or such parts of the Drives, Road and Way shown on said plat and not heretofore so dedicated; and

WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation in the City of Columbus in that it is immediately necessary to pass this ordinance in order to move forward as soon as possible with the development of the site and the sale of the homes for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety; and

WHEREAS, after examination, it has been found to be in the best interest of the City to accept said plat; now, therefore

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

Section 1. That the plat titled ALKIRE WOODS on file in the office of the City Engineer, Transportation Division, be and the same is hereby accepted.
