Explanation

 

BACKGROUND

 

On July 15, 2024, Columbus City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1919-2024 which authorized the Director of the Department of Finance and Management to extend a contract agreement with Greenwood 360, LLC to June 30, 2025. Due to an error with the sole source provision language in that legislation, the Ordinance in its entirety, needs to be repealed. 

 

This legislation repeals Ordinance No. 1919-2024 in its entirety to correct the language error in that legislation.

 

FISCAL IMPACT: This ordinance will have no fiscal impact.

To repeal Ordinance No. 1919-2024 in its entirety due to an error in legislation language associated with sole source provisions of City Code Chapter 329 in a contract modification with Greenwood 360, LLC. ($0.00)

 

Body

 

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1919-2024 was adopted by Columbus City Council on July 15, 2024, and authorized a contract extension with Greenwood 360, LLC; and

 

WHEREAS, the language of Ordinance No. 1919-2024 pursuant to sole source provisions of City Code Chapter 329 was legislated in error; and

 

WHEREAS, due to the administrative error, Ordinance No. 1919-2024 incorrectly stated Greenwood 360, LLC was a sole source provider for Emergency Rental Assistance fraud monitoring services detection; and

 

WHEREAS, it is necessary to repeal this error and Ordinance No. 1919-2024; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

 

SECTION 1.  That Ordinance No. 1919-2024, passed on July 15, 2024 is hereby repealed in its entirety.

 

SECTION 2.  That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest date allowed by law.
