To honor, recognize and celebrate the life of Amy Early and extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends on the occasion of her passing, August 18, 2010.
 
 
Body
 
WHEREAS, Amy Early was a soldier of the Lord and exemplified strength and her love for Christ in all her endeavors; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Early's love for mankind and her willingness to share and care for others radiated to those around her with each passing day; and  
WHEREAS, Ms. Early was a member of Second Baptist Church for over sixty years, where she faithfully taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and was a devoted kitchen helper; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Early was a member of the Anna Circle and Prayer Cottage, and through her love and faith in the Lord, made an impact on the lives of family and friends by always being there for others with her words of encouragement and help in any way possible; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Early received the 2010 Living Faith Award and her faithfulness to the Lord will continue to shine through her family, church and community.  She  will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That this council does hereby honor, recognize and celebrate the long and fulfilling life of Amy Early and extend our sincerest condolences to her family and friends on the occasion of her passing.
