To Recognize Katzinger's Delicatessen on its 25^th Anniversary.

Body

WHEREAS, Oct. 1, 2009 marks the 25th anniversary of Katzinger's Delicatessen, a Columbus business located at 475 South Third Street in German Village; and

WHEREAS, owners Diane and Steve Warren, along with the Columbus community, will celebrate this milestone for Katzinger's and the city of Columbus; and

WHEREAS, for a quarter of a century Katzinger's Deli has had a major local economic impact on Columbus, having employed more than 2,000 people and selling approximately 9,000 sandwiches monthly; and

WHEREAS, Katzinger's has not only served our local residents great food but has served celebrities such as Sheryl Crow, Lyle Lovett, the Rolling Stones, James Taylor, President Bill Clinton and many more; and 

WHEREAS, the citizens of the greater Columbus community congratulate Katzinger's Delicatessen on the auspicious and joyous occasion of 25 years of business; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That we do hereby recognize Katzinger's Delicatessen on its 25th Anniversary.
