WHEREAS, Barcelona Restaurant & Bar has offered authentic Spanish cuisine, a connection to Columbus’ past, and meaningful community since 1966; and
WHEREAS, Barcelona’s ever-changing menu filled with tapas and ingredients imported from Spain has been captivating taste buds and attracting regulars for three decades; and
WHEREAS, Barcelona has preserved and incorporated the rich history of their corner of East Whittier Street into the ambiance, imbuing the centuries-old buildings with new life while honoring the past; and
WHEREAS, Barcelona has been a staple of the German Village neighborhood since opening, treating their customers like family and the restaurant as a community hub; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this council hereby honors and celebrates the 30th anniversary of Barcelona Restaurant & Bar
