Explanation
Background: The City of Columbus, Ohio is the owner of a certain sanitary sewer easement located in the vicinity of Winchester Pike and Brice Road, Franklin County, Ohio of by virtue of a recorded easement, more fully described within the body of this legislation. The original sanitary mainline has been abandoned and a replacement easement has been granted to the City and recorded with the Franklin County Recorders Office. The Grantor, Ashbrook Run LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, has requested that the City release the 0.133 +/- acre easement in exchange for the previously granted replacement easement. After investigation, it has been determined that the proposed exchange of easements will not adversely affect the City and therefore should be granted. The following legislation authorizes the Director of the Department of Public Utilities to execute those instruments necessary to release the aforementioned sewer easement at no charge in exchange for a previously granted replacement easement.

Emergency Justification: Emergency action is requested to allow for the immediate release of the subject easement in exchange for an easement already received and recorded at the Franklin County Recorders' office.
