Explanation
The City of Columbus has been asked to accept a GENERAL WARRANTY DEED from DOMINION HOMES, INC., an Ohio corporation, by Robert A. Meyer, Senior Vice President for property that will be used for road right-of-way purposes and to name and dedicate the right-of-way Courtright Road. Ohio Revised Code Chapter 723.03 requires that property to be used as a public street or alley must be accepted and dedicated as public right-of-way by an ordinance specially passed for such purpose. DOMINION HOMES, INC. has also requested that this property be annexed into the City of Columbus.
The following legislation provides for the City to accept said deed signed by Robert A. Meyer, Senior Vice President, DOMINION HOMES, INC. and authorize the City Engineer, or his designee, on behalf of the City of Columbus to execute a petition for annexation of this road right-of-way located in Madison Township, Franklin County, Ohio.

WHEREAS, DOMINION HOMES, INC., an Ohio corporation, was the owner of property more fully described in the attached GENERAL WARRANTY DEED; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of this deed recorded in the Franklin County, Ohio, Recorder's Office, on December 8, 2003 as Instrument Number 200312080388665, DOMINION HOMES, INC., an Ohio corporation, by Robert A. Meyer, Senior Vice President, has deeded property to the City of Columbus; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to accept this deed for property which will be used for road right-of-way; and
