Mrs. Callender  was a dedicated member of the St. Paul AME Church for over 30 years where she served the Lord with truth and gladness.  She was a member of the Senior Usher Board, Stewardess Board No. 4 and involved with the church Sunday School.  Mrs. Callender's career consisted of working at Lazarus for 23 years in sales and marketing; often modeling in many advertisements.  She later discovered her real passion involved supporting the growth and development of children and pursued her goals through her work with Crittenton Family Services, The Art of Positive Parenting and Action for Children.Dorothy Rose Callender will be sorely missed.
