1. BACKGROUND:
This legislation authorizes the Director of Public Utilities to modify the professional engineering services agreement with Brown and Caldwell Ohio, LLC for the Jackson Pike Wastewater Treatment Plant Skimmings Concentrator System Improvements Project. The second component ($114,500.00), Operation & Maintenance Instruction Courseware was added at the request of the City and their Professional Program Manager to ensure that this vital wastewater treatment infrastructure is being started up, operated and maintained efficiently in order to preserve this investment.
The third component ($259,875.00), Engineering Services During Construction, was planned for and requested in the original contract. The original terms and conditions allowed the City to incrementally fund the contract services through periodic modifications.
