BACKGROUND: The purpose of this legislation is to authorize the Director of Columbus Water and Power, Division of Water to enter into a sole-source maintenance contract with Agilent Technologies, Inc. The Water Quality Analysis Lab (WQAL) has various scientific instruments that require maintenance and repair services by an authorized service provider. This equipment is used to analyze collected water samples as necessary for regulatory compliance.
