Explanation
1. BACKGROUND
A portion of real property recently acquired by and now owned by the City, being a 0.070 acre portion of Franklin County Tax Parcel Number 010-344802 needs to be dedicated as public right-of-way for roadway purposes and named East Livingston Avenue.

There is no expenditure associated with this Ordinance.

WHEREAS, Ohio Revised Code Chapter 723.03 requires property to be used as a public street or alley be accepted and dedicated as public right-of-way by an ordinance specially passed for such purpose; and
WHEREAS, City owned land, totaling 0.070 acre tract, will need to be dedicated to public right-of-way purposes; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary in the usual daily operation that the City desires to name the 0.070 acre tract of real property, East Livingston Avenue; and
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
SECTION 1. That the City hereby dedicates the following described property as public right-of-way; to-wit:
0.070 Acres
Situated in the State of Ohio, County of Franklin, City of Columbus, in Half Section 34, Section 20, Township 12, Range 21, Refugee Lands, being part of the 0.463 Acre tract conveyed to the City of Columbus, Ohio as shown of record on I.N. 202502240017768, also being a portion of railroad right-of-way declared as “Used in Operations” as delineated on the “Right of Way Track Map, The Toledo and Ohio Central Railway Company, Corning Division, East Columbus Branch - Main Line, Station 1046+65.2 to Station 1110+69.8, June 8, 1918” Panel V.-4./13. conveyed to the Pennsylvania Lines, LLC as shown of record in Inst. No. 200212180325195, now known as Norfolk Southern Railway Co., successor by merger, as shown of record in Inst.
