Title

To congratulate Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church on their 1^st Annual Triedstone Hope Outreach Charity Gala.

Body

WHEREAS, a momentous occasion in the history of Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church and Triedstone Hope Outreach, will have their 1^st Annual Charity Gala which will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008  at 7:00 PM in the J. H. Ross, Sr. Family Life and Community Center, 907 Lexington Avenue; and

WHEREAS, Triedstone Hope Outreach is a non-profit organization established by Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church to provide programs and services to engage youth, adults, and families in structured activities that will make a life changing difference for those living in economically and educationally challenged communities while specifically addressing the Milo Grogan community, where Triedstone is located; and

WHEREAS, the gala will provide financial support which will permit Triedstone to enhance/expand existing programs and to add addition programs/services; and

WHEREAS, during the gala Triedstone will celebrate their successes, honor several community leaders, and share their vision for the future; and

WHEREAS, the keynote speaker will be Dr. E. Gordon Gee, President of The Ohio State University; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

This Council does hereby congratulate Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church on their 1^st Annual Triedstone Hope Outreach Charity Gala.
