Explanation
The purpose of this legislation is to authorize the Director of Public Utilities to enter into an agreement for Fence and Gate Replacement at the Sewer Maintenance Operation Center located at 1250 Fairwood Avenue with Graves Fence Company.
The contract will allow for the removing and disposing of old fencing material at the location and the installation of new chain link and wood fencing, slide gate and gate operator. The contractor will provide all labor, material and equipment for this service.
The Director of Public Utilities opened formal bids on July 23, 2008 and eight (8) bids were received. Tabulation is attached. The Division of Sewerage and Drainage after reviewing all bids awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Graves Fence Company.

FISCAL IMPACT: $42,033.00 is budgeted and needed for this contract.

WHEREAS, the Division of Sewerage and Drainage, Sewer Maintenance Operation Center lacted at 1250 Fairwood Avenue has a need for fence and gate replacement throughout the complex, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Utilities opened formal bids on July 23, 2008 and eight (8) bids were received, and
WHEREAS, the Division of Sewerage and Drainage after reviewing all bids awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Graves Fence Company, and
