WHEREAS, Todd Dieffenderfer served with distinction as Deputy Director of the City of Columbus Department of Neighborhoods; and
WHEREAS, in his capacity as Deputy Director, Todd has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to empowering residents to actively engage in their communities and fostering impactful partnerships to address the complex challenges facing our neighborhoods; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Department of Neighborhoods, Todd provided exemplary oversight for critical initiatives including the Community Relations Commission, New American Program, Rise Up Cbus! and the 3-1-1 Customer Service Center, enhancing the quality of life for Columbus residents;
WHEREAS, Todd is highly respected among his peers and admired by his staff for his fair, integral, decisive and empowering leadership; his ability to motivate and inspire those around him has made a profound impact on the work culture and morale within the Department of Neighborhoods; and
WHEREAS, prior to his service with the Department of Neighborhoods, Todd held significant leadership positions as Senior Vice President of Community Impact and Chief Alignment Officer at United Way of Central Ohio, where he dedicated his efforts to advancing pathways out of poverty in Central Ohio; and
WHEREAS, Todd has a distinguished record of public service, including roles as Special Advisor to former Ohio Treasurer and Attorney General Richard Cordray, Legislative Aide to former Columbus City Council President Matt Habash and an aide in the Ohio House of Representatives; and
WHEREAS, Todd is a graduate of Leadership Columbus' Signature Program in 2013 and actively contributed to the community through his service on the boards of the Central Ohio Community Improvement Corporation and the Ohio Center for Law Related Education; and
