To recognize the Ohio State University Hospital East's annual Community Day, Health and Information Fair June 23, 2007.

WHEREAS, as a part of this annual event University Hospital East and other members of the Ohio State University Medical Center provide free health care screenings, and counseling; and
WHEREAS, the free health screenings will include blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, podiatry, eye exams, dental checks, prostate exams, clinical breast exams, kidney screenings, lung function and more; and
WHEREAS, as a part of this year's event over 30 community health and social service agencies have participated in providing useful and needed information to the surrounding neighborhood and community; and
WHEREAS, University Hospital East through the annual Community Day event continues to demonstrate its commitment towards helping to build and maintain a healthy community; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That this Council does hereby recognize the Ohio State University Hospital East's annual Community Day, Health and Information Fair June 23, 2007 and urges all members of the community to join in recognition of this significant occasion.
