Title

To honor and congratulate the Central Ohio Writers of Literature for children as they celebrate their 7th Anniversary by hosting authors, Arthur Dorros, Patricia Hermes, and Raymond Bial.

Body

WHEREAS, Central Ohio Writers of Literature for children has been entertaining families in Columbus Ohio for over 7 years; and

WHEREAS, The seven-year old conference is the cooperative effort of two schools, St. Joseph Montessori and Second Avenue Elementary schools.

WHEREAS, This collaboration between neighboring private and public schools serves as a unique model of innovative thought in advancing and improving writing and illustrating for children; and

WHEREAS, This joint effort enriches and enhances the literary world of central Ohio adults and children and illuminates the complimentary art to literacy, now, therefore;

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That this Council does hereby recognize and congratulate the Central Ohio Writers of Literature for children as they celebrate their 7^h Anniversary on this 23^rd day of April 2004.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That a copy of this resolution be presented to authors Arthur Dorros, Patricia Hermes, and Raymond Bial as we welcome them to this great city of ours.
