Explanation

The purpose of this legislation is to authorize the Director of Public Utilities to enter into a service agreement with DLT Solutions Inc for renewal of software licenses Autodesk products used by the Division of Sewerage and Drainage and the Division of Power and Water for mapping and the creation/updating of shop drawings and architectural plans. Because the software program is proprietary to the vendor, the Division of Sewerage and Drainage is submitting this ordinance in accordance with Columbus City Code Section 329.07 (e) Sole Source provisions. Previous authorizing legislation Ordinance Number: 0663-2008.


SUPPLIER: DLT Solutions Inc (54-1599882) Expires 8-29-09


FISCAL IMPACT: $23,095.41 is needed for the renewal of the software.

Body

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Utilities has a need to renew the licensing and maintenance of Autodesk products, and

WHEREAS, the software is used for mapping and the creation/updating of shop drawings and architectural plans, and

WHEREAS, the software program is proprietary to the vendor, the Department of Public Utilities is submitting this ordinance in accordance with Columbus City Code Section 329.07 (e) Sole Source provisions, now therefore


BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
