Title: To authorize the appropriation of that portion of sales revenues generated by the on-line auction of city assets which is required to pay the on-line auction service fees, as determined by the terms of the Universal Term Contract for on-line auction services, to the fund to which the proceeds from the asset sales are to be deposited, and to authorize the expenditure of those funds as payment for on-line auction services.
Explanation

BACKGROUND: This ordinance enables the City Auditor to receive sales revenues and appropriate these receipts as necessary so that the City can pay fees for on line auction services out of the proceeds of the sales revenues. Pursuant to City Council and Mayor approval, the City is establishing a Universal Term Contract for an option to purchase on-line auction services. Where a given auction is successful, the City has agreed to pay a percentage of the sale price to the company hosting the on-line auction on the City's behalf.

FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact beyond the fees, which are subject to a specifically limited amount of revenues received after sales of City surplus property.
