To Recognize and Honor the Life of Mary M. Bracy

 

Body

 

WHEREAS, Mary M. Bracy was born on June 7, 1929, in Havelock, North Carolina, and lived a devoted life of perseverance, service, and faith; and

 

WHEREAS, Mrs. Bracy devoted twenty-two years with the Ohio Telephone Company, retiring after a long and devoted career; and

 

WHEREAS, she was a devoted member of the Pool of Bethesda Church, serving her congregation as a missionary, hospitality chairperson, and senior choir member, and for many years organized celebratory events honoring church leadership; and

 

WHEREAS, through her ministry and fellowship, touched countless lives, offering compassion, guidance, and encouragement to her church, family, and community; and

 

WHEREAS, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose legacy lives on through her children, extended family, and community of faith; now, therefore

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby recognize and honor the life of beloved Columbus resident, Mary M. Bracy, whose faith and service leaves a lasting impact on our community.
