Explanation

This legislation authorizes the Director of Finance and Management to establish a blanket purchase order for the Division of Sewerage and Drainage, to obtain Rabble Arms and Teeth in accordance with an established Universal Term Contract.

The parts are used for routine repairs and rehabilitation of incinerators located at the Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant and Jackson Pike Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The parts will be purchased from an established Universal Term Contract FL004645 which expires on October 31, 2012. The Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant incinerators are undergoing rehabilitation and parts are needed for this project. The Jackson Pike Wastewater Treatment Plant will be changing the rabble pattern in the incinerators which will require this location to start using and stocking additional arms and teeth.

SUPPLIER: Multiple Hearth Furnace Services (16-1102499) Expires 7-31-11

The company is not debarred according to the Excluded Party Listing System of the Federal Government or prohibited from being awarded a contract according to the Auditor of State Unresolved Findings for Recovery Certified Search.

FISCAL IMPACT: $200,000.00 is budgeted and needed for this purchase.
