Explanation
BACKGROUND: This legislation authorizes the Finance and Management Director to establish a Universal Term Contract (UTC) for the option to purchase Doppstadt OEM Parts with Ecoverse, LLC. The Division of Fleet Management is the primary user for Doppstadt OEM Parts. Doppstadt OEM Parts are used to repair and maintain City compost processing equipment. Ecoverse, LLC is the sole source for these parts as they are the only local distributor for this specific manufacturer. Pricing was obtained by published price list. The term of the proposed option contract would be approximately two (2) years, expiring January 31, 2027, with the option to renew for one (1) additional year. In addition, the expenditure of $1.00 is hereby authorized from General Budget Reservation BRPO002726.
