To recognize and congratulate Martha Rebecca Jones on her 75th Birthday on Tuesday, June 3, 2003.

WHEREAS, on Tuesday, June 3, 2003, friends and family will gather to celebrate the 75 years of life and beauty of one of God's chosen flowers; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Jones is a gracious and spiritual woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, godmother, adopted mother, adopted grandmother, and friend; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Jones is an active and enthusiastic member of the Triedstone Baptist Church Deaconess' Board and seasoned citizens; and
WHEREAS, Martha Rebecca Jones is a retired accountant from Midland Mutual Insurance Company; and
WHEREAS, of all of her achievements, most important to Mrs. Jones is her wonderful family that includes her husband of 56 years, Forest Jones, and their 2 daughters, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren and is one of the main reasons she considers herself a truly blessed woman; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That this Council does hereby recognize and applaud Martha Rebecca Jones for a lifetime of outstanding service to her church and community.
