Explanation
1. BACKGROUND
Campus Partners for Community Urban Redevelopment, an Ohio Limited Liability Company, by Douglas L. Aschenbach, Representative, has submitted the plat titled "North Fourth East Eighth" to the City Engineer's Office for review and approval. This plat has been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. The following legislation allows the City to accept said plat for property located south of Ninth Avenue and west of Fourth Street.
2. EMERGENCY DESIGNATION
Emergency action is requested to allow development of this subdivision to proceed as currently scheduled.
Title
To accept the plat titled "North Fourth East Eighth", from Campus Partners for Community Urban Redevelopment, an Ohio Limited Liability Company, by Douglas L. Aschenbach, Representative; and to declare an emergency.
Body
WHEREAS, the plat titled "North Fourth East Eighth" (hereinafter "plat"), has been submitted to the City Engineer's Office for approval and acceptance; and
WHEREAS, Campus Partners for Community Urban Redevelopment, an Ohio Limited Liability Company, by Douglas L. Aschenbach, Representative, owner of the platted land, desires to dedicate to the public use all or such parts of the Alley and easements shown on said plat and not heretofore so dedicated; and
WHEREAS, after examination, it has been found to be in the best interest of the City to accept said plat; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Department of Public Service, Division of Planning and Operations, in that it is immediately necessary to authorize the acceptance of this plat so development of this subdivision can proceed as currently scheduled thereby preserving the public health, peace, property, safety and welfare; now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
