Explanation
Greater Columbus Habitat for Humanity, an Ohio not for profit corporation, by E.J. Thomas, Executive Director, and Community Housing Network, Inc., a non-profit corporation, by Susan E. Weaver, Executive Director, has submitted the plat titled Habitat Village Section 1 to the City Engineer's Office for review and approval. This plat has been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. The following legislation allows the City to accept said plat for property located north of Weber Road and west of Hamilton Avenue.
Emergency Justification: Emergency action is requested to allow development of this subdivision to proceed as currently scheduled.

To accept the plat titled Habitat Village Section 1, from Greater Columbus Habitat for Humanity, an Ohio not for profit corporation, by E.J. Thomas, Executive Director, and Community Housing Network, Inc., a non-profit corporation, by Susan E. Weaver, Executive Director; and to declare an emergency.
Body
WHEREAS, the plat titled Habitat Village Section 1 (hereinafter "plat"), has been submitted to the City Engineer's Office for approval and acceptance; and
WHEREAS, Greater Columbus Habitat for Humanity, an Ohio not for profit corporation, by E.J. Thomas, Executive Director, and Community Housing Network, Inc., a non-profit corporation, by Susan E. Weaver, Executive Director, owner of the platted land, desires to dedicate to the public use all or such parts of the Circle, alleys and easements shown on said plat and not heretofore so dedicated; and
WHEREAS, after examination, it has been found to be in the best interest of the City to accept said plat; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Public Service Department, Transportation Division, in that it is immediately necessary to authorize the acceptance of this plat so development of this subdivision can proceed as currently scheduled thereby preserving the public health, peace, property...
