WHEREAS, Joyce Beatty currently serves as the United States Representative for Ohio’s Third Congressional District, a role she has held since 2013; and
WHEREAS, Rep. Beatty has been a stalwart advocate for Ohioan’s throughout her career, which has spanned from the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Service to the Ohio House of Representatives to the U.S. House of Representatives; and
WHEREAS, as the daughter of a proud Union worker, Rep. Beatty’s career has been marked by a dedication to working people, including through sponsoring legislation to strengthen collective bargaining rights and to support workers during the COVID-19 pandemic; and
WHEREAS, this award is one of many prestigious recognitions given to Rep. Beaty in appreciation of her undying support of her constituents of all backgrounds; now, therefore
