Title
To honor and recognize Ty D. Marsh for his work on behalf of the citizens of the City of Columbus and to wish him well as the new President and CEO of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce.
Body
WHEREAS, Ty D. Marsh has ably served the citizens of Columbus as Mayor Coleman's Chief of Staff, playing a key role in the success Columbus has experience over the past four years; and
WHEREAS, during Ty Marsh's tenure the City of Columbus has experienced many successes including achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction yet recorded on the Citizen Satisfaction Survey, and maintaining our AAA bond rating; and
WHEREAS, Ty D. Marsh has demonstrated himself to be a professional and dedicated public servant through his abilities to build consensus, solve problems and get results; and
WHEREAS, Ty D. Marsh has a new opportunity to help further the presence of Columbus on the state and national levels as the President and CEO of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Ty D. Marsh has helped to make Columbus a place we are all proud to call home; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That we do hereby recognize and congratulate Ty D. Marsh for his service to the citizens of the City of Columbus and wish him continued success as President and CEO of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce.
