Explanation
This legislation authorizes the Director of Finance and Management to establish a blanket purchase order for the Division of Sewerage and Drainage to obtain Rental of Construction Equipment with Operator from an established Universal Term Contract.
This contract is utilized for the rental of large equipment for various projects beyond the scope of the Division's personnel. It is utilized by the Sewer Maintenance Operations Center to provide sanitary and storm sewer line maintenance and rehabilitation. The Purchasing Office has established Universal Term Contract for the option to obtain Rental of Construction Equipment with Operator. Items required will be obtained in accordance with this contract. Contract expires on August 31, 2008.

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Office has established a Universal Term Contract for the option to obtain the Rental of Construction Equipment with Operator, with Travco Construction that expires August 31, 2008 and,
WHEREAS, the Division of Sewerage and Drainage utilizes this contract for sanitary and storm sewer line maintenance and rehabilitation projects, and
WHEREAS, a blanket purchase order will be established in accordance with the Universal Term Contract on file with the Purchasing Office, now therefore
