Explanation

This ordinance amends the Management Compensation Plan, Ordinance No. 2713-2013, as amended, by enacting the classification of Housing Stability Division Administrator (0180) based on Civil Service Commission action.

Fiscal Impact: None.

Emergency Designation: Emergency action is recommended in order to allow for expedient implementation to immediately enact the Housing Stability Division Administrator (0180) classification to be utilized by the Department of Development.

To amend the Management Compensation Plan, Ordinance No. 2713-2013, as amended, by amending Section 5(E); and to declare an emergency. ($0.00)

Body

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Management Compensation Plan by amending Section 5(E) to enact the classification of Housing Stability Division Administrator (0180) based on Civil Service Commission action and to assign it to Pay Grade 95; and

WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Department of Human Resources in that it is immediately necessary to amend certain provisions of the Management Compensation Plan in order to meet obligations to employees, departments, and the Civil Service Commission, by amending the established pay plan by July 28, 2025, all for the immediate preservation the public health, peace, property, safety and welfare; and NOW THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

SECTION 1. That Section 5(E) of Ordinance No. 2713-2013 is hereby amended to read as follows according to the attached document:

SECTION 2. That existing Section 5(E) of Ordinance No. 2713-2013, as amended, is hereby repealed.
