To celebrate Per Scholas Columbus’ 100th cohort graduation and recognize their positive impact in the Columbus community. 

 

 

Body

 

WHEREAS, Per Scholas Columbus is a local organization that offers no-cost technical training to learners and professionals, with a focus on data engineering, cybersecurity, and systems support; and

 

WHEREAS, Per Scholas Columbus increases accessibility to education, empowering graduates to develop highly sought-after professional skills and pursue careers in the tech industry; and

 

WHEREAS, Per Scholas Columbus has placed graduates nationwide for various entry to mid-level tech roles, while providing continued upskilling and professional development support to alumni post-graduation; and

 

WHEREAS, on February 27, 2026, Per Scholas Columbus celebrated the graduation of their 97th, 98th, 99th, and historic 100th cohorts; and

 

WHEREAS, this milestone accomplishment represents a significant moment in Per Scholas Columbus’s journey, marking 100 graduates served and over 1,500 learners empowered over the past 14 years; and 

 

WHEREAS, Per Scholas Columbus’s dedication to educational empowerment and workforce development is commendable; and

 

WHEREAS, this Council seeks to recognize local organizations that have a positive impact on our community and its residents; now, therefore

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby celebrate Per Scholas Columbus’s 100th cohort graduation and recognize their positive impact in the Columbus community.
