Explanation
BACKGROUND: This legislation authorizes the Finance and Management Director to establish a Universal Term Contract (UTC) for the option to purchase International Navistar OEM Parts and Services with Rush Truck Centers of Ohio, Inc. The Division of Fleet Management is the primary user for International Navistar OEM Parts and Services. International Navistar OEM Parts and Services are used to repair City commercial vehicles. Rush Truck Centers of Ohio, Inc. is the sole source for these parts and services as they are the only local distributor and authorized service provider for this specific manufacturer. Pricing was obtained by published price list. The term of the proposed option contract would be approximately two (2) years, expiring October 31, 2026, with the option to renew for one (1) additional year. In addition, the expenditure of $1.00 is hereby authorized from General Budget Reservation BRPO002726.
