Explanation
BACKGROUND: This legislation authorizes and directs the Public Service Director to enter into a contract for the Facilities Management Division with eS Architecture and Development for final architectural services for Fire Station #34, on behalf of the Public Safety Department, Division of Fire. Kellam & Associates have completed their required architectural services for this project. eS Architecture and Development will oversee and review the project through completion.
Three informal bids were solicited and reviewed by the Public Service Department, Facilities Management Division. eS Architecture & Development provided the most responsive and responsible bid.
Emergency action is requested to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner and that no delay or disruptions occur. Contract compliance is 31-1448505, expiration date 12-03-2004.
FISCAL IMPACT: Unencumbered cash is available within the Division's current 2002 Capital Improvement Budget for these purchases, Safety Voted Bond Fund, Fire Station #34 Project for this purchase.
