To honor, recognize and celebrate Commissioner Dr. Daniel Ajayi for his distinguished leadership and service on the North Linden Area Commission
Body
WHEREAS, Daniel Ajayi served a successful four-year term as Chair of the Health and Safety Committee from May 2021 through December 2025, providing steadfast leadership to the North Linden Area Commission; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Ajayi has upheld the integrity of his community by leading numerous cleanup campaigns, passionately driven to effect positive change; and
WHEREAS, as one of the first planners for Vision Zero, Dr. Ajayi advocated for better bike lanes to ensure the safety of cyclists and pedestrians in his community; and
WHEREAS, he has consistently uplifted the North Linden area by working with residents on renovations for older homes and organizing several community coat drives, demonstrating a diligence to the well-being of his neighbors; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Ajayi’s commitment to service, empowerment, and community reflects the highest values of the City of Columbus, serving as an inspiration to fellow commissioners and residents; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That we hereby recognize and commend Dr. Daniel Ajayi for his outstanding leadership and service to the North Linden Area Commission.
