Explanation
BACKGROUND: Ordinance No. 0192-2011, approved by City Council on February 14, 2011, authorized the Board of Health to accept a supplemental grant award of $1,054,751.00 from the Ohio Department of Health for the 2011 Public Health Emergency Preparedness grant program, for the grant period ending July 30, 2011. This ordinance is needed to establish a purchase order with DRM Productions, Inc for the purchase of equipment to install 12 monitors providing interdepartmental digital signage to inform and communicate to clients, employees and the public about public health emergencies.
This ordinance is submitted as an emergency and competitive sealed bidding is waived so as to comply with the Ohio Department of Health grant requirements ending July 30, 2011.
DRM Productions, Inc contract compliance number is 34-1443822 and is active until 05/06/2013.
FISCAL IMPACT: Funding for this purchase is budgeted in the Health Department Grants Fund, Fund No. 251, 2011 Public Health Emergency Preparedness Grant Project-Focus Area 3-Operations.
