Explanation

This is consent legislation with the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation (ODOT) for bridge reconstruction project on two structures. The first is SR104 over US33. Work consists of replacement of the deck and approach slabs, paint structural steel, patch and seal substructure, construct semi-integral abutments, remove existing median and replace with single slope barrier, and realign ramp D(US 33 Westbound to SR104 Southbound). The second project is SR 104 over C&O Railroad and Parsons Avenue. Work for this project consists of concrete deck and approach overlay and patching and sealing the substructure. This project is scheduled for construction in State Fiscal Year 2008. (FRA-SR16-10.25 PID 79943)

Fiscal Impact: The estimated construction cost of the project is $575,000.00, which will be funded by ODOT. There is no cost to the City of Columbus for this project. This legislation also authorizes the Director of Public Service to enter into the necessary agreements to complete this project.
