To honor and celebrate the life of Sheila Austin.

WHEREAS, Sheila Austin was a daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many, and public servant in the city of Columbus, Ohio; and
WHEREAS, Sheila Austin served as the Program Coordinator for the Brighton Recovery Center for Women, in Florence, Kentucky. Prior to her employment at Brighton Recovery Center for Women, she was a public servant, having served as a Staff Aide in the Ohio House of Representatives; and
WHEREAS, Sheila served as the Cultural Competence Coordinator with Franklin County ADAMH Board. This appointment allowed Sheila to bring cultural and linguistics competence to alcohol, drug and mental health services to the residents of Franklin County; and
WHEREAS, Sheila is survived by mother, Ida B. Austin; sisters, Linda Austin Elliott and Ida Denise Austin; brothers, Rickie Austin (Linda Waddell), William F. Austin (Jill), and Bramlett B. Austin (Pam); a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends including special friend, Suzanne Coleman-Tolbert and fiancée', Wilbert Whiting Sr.; now, therefore
