To honor and celebrate Trudy Bartley's 11 years of service with the City of Columbus and congratulate her on her new career endeavor.

WHEREAS, Trudy Bartley has been with the Department of Development for eleven years and currently serves as the Deputy Director.
WHEREAS, in this position, she is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Department, as well as assisting the Director as spokesperson in a wide range of economic and community development activities and initiatives; and
WHEREAS, Trudy has also served as Research Specialist, Program Manager, Program Coordinator and Administrative Coordinator with the Department of Development; and
WHEREAS, Trudy is a true public servant who has given her time and talents to the Board of Columbus School for Girls, the YWCA Board and Community Shelter Board's Rebuilding Lives Fund Collaborative; and
WHEREAS, Trudy received her B.A. in Political Science and Economic from Wellesley College in 1981 and grew up on the East side of Columbus and attended Columbus School for Girls. Married with twin boys, Chris and Tyler; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That we do hereby recognize and honor the outstanding leadership of Trudy A. Bartley to the City of Columbus for 11 years and we congratulate her on her new career endeavor.
