1. BACKGROUND
This ordinance authorizes the Director of Public Utilities to enter into a contract modification with Dynotec, Inc., for the UIRF General Engineering Services contract, C.I.P. #440007-100024, in an amount not to exceed $99,992.48.
This contract modification is to provide general engineering design services for Urban Infrastructure Recovery Fund (UIRF) street lighting projects. Services will be authorized on a task order basis as needed. For the first contract task construction plans were prepared to install post top lighting on Dakota Ave. and Guilford St. in the Franklinton Area. For contract modification one the consultant prepared construction plans to install post top style decorative street lighting on Fairwood Ave. from Livingston Ave. to Mooberry St. For this contract modification, the consultant will prepare construction plans to install post top style decorative lighting on West Park Ave. from Broad St. to Sullivant Ave.
The Columbus Community planning area is 54 - Franklinton Community.
1.1. UPDATED TIMELINE & FUTURE RENEWALS
The original contract allowed for two modifications to add funding to extend the contract. This is the second of those funding modifications. The contract will terminate when this most recent task is completed and accepted by the City.
