To recognize and congratulate Mr. Jim Harris on his retirement this 30th day of May, 2003.

Whereas, Mr. Jim Harris has selflessly served as the Ohio State UAW-CAP Coordinator since 1998; and

Whereas, Mr. Harris has had a long and distinguished career, holding key positions such as the Region 2 Servicing Representative, Director for the Ohio Dept. of Industrial Relations, and Labor Education Instructor at The Ohio State University; and

Whereas, Mr. Harris will now have more time to spend with his wife Judy, their two sons and 3 grandchildren and although he has chosen move on his legacy will forever live on and his dedication will serve as the example for all others to follow; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That this Council does hereby recognize and congratulate Mr. Jim Harris for his many years of dedication and service to the Ohio State UAW-CAP Council.
