Title: To amend Ordinance #1477-2007; and to declare an emergency.
Explanation

This legislation amends Ordinance No. 1477-2007, passed October 5, 2007. Ordinance No. 1477-2007 attempted to permit the Finance and Management Director to enter into contract with B&C Blacktop and Sealing, Inc. for the renovation of the City Hall garage pavement. Due to an error, the ordinance did not actually contain that authority in the ordaining sections. This legislation corrects that problem.

Fiscal Impact: This ordinance does not provide for an expenditure. The amount of $20,667.00 was approved by Ordinance #1477-2007.

B&C Blacktop and Sealing, Inc.'s Contract Compliance #31-1538018, expiration date 08/31/2009.
