To honor, recognize and celebrate the life of Caleb Benjamin Cooperrider 1984-2020

WHEREAS, Caleb was known for being many things among those included being an advocate for SAW, Special Olympics, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and his special project Dude Charity; and
WHEREAS, Caleb was a son, brother, friend, beacon of hope and inspiration to many, extended family to all, an all-around great human being; and
WHEREAS, Caleb was the Dude. The dude who loved everyone, touched every life and gave selflessly to anyone in need; and
WHEREAS, Caleb’s last dudely act was the donation of his life to help others in need. The world is a little dimmer however Caleb will truly continue to shine; and
WHEREAS, Caleb loved life, and lived it to the fullest, he was a huge sports fan, attended 14 MLB stadiums, 8 Big 10 stadiums and multiple NFL stadiums. All in support of his favorite teams; and
WHEREAS, when Caleb wasn’t giving back to the community he was supporting small local restaurants, shops, and business. Whenever there was time Caleb loved to travel, he visited 46 of the 50 states; and
WHEREAS, Caleb is survived by his loving family father, Larry Cooperrider,;mother Dee Miller, sisters, Carrie (Chad)Williams and Cassie (Justin) Kibler; identical twin brother, Zachary (Desiree) Cooperrider; nieces and nephews, Cooper, Owen, Ava, Ila and Makenzie; close friends, Jaye Keaser and Veronika Karas and numerous loving supportive friends; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby honor, recognize, and celebrate the life of Caleb Benjamin Cooperrider.
