Title: To authorize the Director of the Department of Public Utilities to execute those instruments necessary to release certain City owned sanitary sewer easements, located in the vicinity of Gender Road and Pfeifer Drive, at the request of Lifestyle Communities.
Explanation

Background: The City of Columbus, Ohio is the holder of certain sanitary sewer easements to real property located in the vicinity of Gender Road and Pfeifer Drive. Lifestyle Communities has requested the City release certain portions of the aforementioned easements, more fully described in the body of this legislation. After investigation, it has been determined that the proposed release of the subject easements will not adversely affect the City and therefore should be granted. The following legislation authorizes the Director of the Department of Public Utilities to execute those instruments necessary to release the aforementioned easement rights.


Fiscal Impact: The $700.00 to be received by the City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities as consideration for the subject easement will be deposited into the appropriate fund, to be identified by the City Auditor.

Title

To authorize the Director of the Department of Public Utilities to execute those instruments necessary to release certain City owned sanitary sewer easements, located in the vicinity of Gender Road and Pfeifer Drive, at the request of Lifestyle Communities.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities, is the owner of certain sanitary sewer easements by virtue of recorded instrument 200305190147498 in the Franklin County Recorders Office; and

WHEREAS, Lifestyle Communities has requested that certain portions of the aforementioned sanitary easements be released; and

WHEREAS, the Division of Sewerage & Drainage, after investigation, has determined that the release of said easement rights will not adversely affect the operations of the City of Columbus; and

WHEREAS, the Real Estate Division, Department of Law, has determined the value of the release of easements to be $700.00 dollars now, therefore:
