We honor and celebrate Elder E. LaMarr Scales and his 26 years of music ministry.

WHEREAS, with his God-given talent, anointed voice, and heart for God, Elder Scales has blessed many pastors, churches, groups and choirs throughout this city, state and country. Elder Scales is a true worshiper of God who can usher in the very presence of the Lord; and
WHEREAS, Elder Scales has been featured on the nationally recorded CD of Keith "Wonderboy" Johnson & The Spiritual Voices, leading track, "My Soul Is Satisfied"; and
WHEREAS, Elder Scales has been called upon to serve God in this capacity for twenty-six years is a testament to the commitment he made to the Lord and to the calling that was placed on his life as a young man; and
WHEREAS, Elder Scales wishes each of you join him as he celebrates the ministry, witness and labor of one of God's servants; and
WHEREAS, Elder Scales will celebrate the Rededication of his music ministry, which all have encouraged him in various ways; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That we do hereby recognize and honor the outstanding leadership and dedication of Elder E. LaMarr Scales to the City of Columbus for 26 years and to congratulate him on his lifelong career endeavor.
