Explanation:
The City of Columbus is engaged in the development and lease of retail structures on the bridge platforms being constructed to span over I-670 along the East and West sides of North High Street. As a part of this project, and pursuant to Ordinance 1268-02, passed July 29, 2002, the City has entered into an agreement with 670 CAP Partners, Ltd. to install sewer and water utility lines to service this development and to expend a maximum of $325,000.00 for this purpose.
Fiscal Impact:
This legislation authorizes the Director of Public Service to enter into agreements for the expenditure of $325,000.00 from the 1995, 1999 Voted Street and Highway Fund for the extension of city sewer and water utility lines to serve the improvements of 670 CAP Partners Ltd. over I-670.
Emergency Justification:
Emergency action is requested to allow immediate expenditure of the necessary funds.

WHEREAS, the city is engaged in the development and lease of retail structures on the platforms currently being constructed to span over I-670 along the east and west sides of North High Street with 670 CAP Partners Ltd, and
WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with CAP Partners Ltd., pursuant to Ordinance 1268-02, passed July 29, 2002, that obligates the City to design and construct water and sewer utility lines to service this development and to expend an amount not to exceed $325,000.00 in doing so, and
