Explanation

Background: This ordinance authorizes the Director of Finance and Management to associate all General Budget Reservations resulting from this ordinance with the appropriate Universal Term Contracts Purchase Agreements for Light Duty Vehicle Upfits.

The Purchase Agreement associations listed require approval by City Council in order for the division to expend more than $100,000.00, per Columbus City Code Chapter 329.

Title

Body

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Office established Universal Term Contracts for the purchase of Light Duty Vehicle Upfits; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to authorize the expenditure of $65,000 for the purchase of Light Duty Vehicle Upfits; and

WHEREAS, it has become necessary in the usual daily operation of the Department of Public Utilities to authorize the Finance and Management Director to associate all General Budget Reservations resulting from this ordinance with the appropriate current and pending Purchase Agreements for the purchase of Light Duty Vehicle Upfits; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

SECTION 1. That the Director of the Department of Finance and Management be and is hereby authorized to associate all General Budget Reservations resulting from this ordinance with the appropriate Universal Term Contract Purchase Agreement...
