To recognize and celebrate Mr. Zach McGuire for receiving the Private Sector Ripple of Hope Award

WHEREAS, IMPACT Community Action has prioritized the fight against poverty and has worked to address its root causes in Central Ohio for 16 years; and
WHEREAS, each year, IMPACT Community Action support individuals in our community by providing a range of services, including housing stability, utility assistance, emergency rental aid, workforce development training, and energy efficiency programs; and
WHEREAS, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, IMPACT Community Action will host the Annual Ripple of Hope Awards celebration at The Boat House to honor community leaders who are making a difference in the fight against poverty; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Zach McGuire, as Executive Director of the Columbus Region Green Fund, leads initiatives to promote affordable, healthy and equitable green energy solutions for under served communities; and
WHEREAS, Columbus City Council is proud to have community leaders who prioritize sustainable initiatives and provide continued community service to our residents; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby recognize and celebrate Mr. Zach McGuire for receiving the Private Sector Ripple of Hope Award
