Explanation
By this resolution, City Council accepts the Capital Improvement Program (CIP), 2005 - 2010, and makes it the primary guide for the 2005 Capital Improvements Budget. The CIP reflects priorities identified in the 2004 Voted Bond Package.
Title
To accept the "Capital Improvements Program, 2005 - 2010," as described herein, as the primary guide for the Capital Improvements Budget ordinance.
Body
WHEREAS, a Capital Improvements Program is needed to provide information and guidelines for the consideration and adoption of the annual Capital Improvements Budget; and
WHEREAS, a Capital Improvements Budget for the year 2005 has been adopted by Council under a separate ordinance; Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
Section 1. That the Capital Improvements Program for the years 2005 - 2010 described herein is hereby accepted as the primary guide for the consideration and adoption of the 2005 Capital Improvements Budget ordinance.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
