To recognize Joel Siegman, and thank him for over 11 years of dedicated service to the Street Jacket program and the youth of Columbus.

WHEREAS, Joel Siegman has shared his leadership and expertise to help the youth of Columbus and the Street Jacket program; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Siegman has helped the Street Jacket program to grow exponentially over the last 11 years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Siegman has played a key role in the hockey programs within Columbus and the Columbus Recreation & Parks Department; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Siegman has helped programming at area recreation centers, schools, and YMCAs that have had a positive effect on well over 10,000 youth; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Siegman's involvement with the hockey programs has been a major reason the sport has grown to where it is today; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That this council does hereby recognize and honor the contributions of Joel Siegman and his service to the Street Jacket program and the youth of Columbus.
